"At Shopee, we are committed to making the giving process as seamless and convenient as possible for all our users. At the same time, we are constantly looking for innovative new ways in which we can rally our users to make positive differences in the community.

We are glad to be partnering with Singapore General Hospital (SGH), to allow more Singaporeans to do their part for the less fortunate through the SGH Needy Patients Fund - even more so during this challenging time. Shopee has always been passionate about uplifting the communities which we serve, and we firmly believe in the importance of lending our voice to those in need. We are thrilled to be working with like-minded partners such as SGH, as we strive to create a positive impact and make valuable contributions to society."

"My late husband, Mr Govindan Samy, was a kind and generous man and always willing to help the needy. In memory of him and to extend our heartfelt thanks to the SGH ward staff, our family has donated part of the proceeds from his estate towards the SGH Needy Patients Fund.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at SGH. Thank you all for providing so much care and love for him during his stay at SGH.

We hope that our small token of appreciation will help make a difference in the lives of the patients in need and their families."

“Our partnership with Singapore General Hospital for the Total Burns Care program ensures on-going operations of the skin culture lab, to provide a ready and immediate source of skin tissue for grafting when the need arises for burn victims. It is through such programs that we hope to make a lasting social impact in societies and build stronger communities where ever we are in the world."
