Associate Professor Tan Su-Ming

A/Prof Tan Su-Ming is the Head of Division of Breast Surgery, Director of Breast Centre and senior consultant breast surgeon at Changi General Hospital (CGH), Singapore.

 

She was a clinical fellow at the renowned Nottingham City Hospital and at the NHS Royal Marsden Hospital in London. Upon returning to Singapore in 2000, she spear-headed the CGH Breast Centre, providing an integrated, one-stop service for patients with breast conditions. In recognition of her excellence in patient care, she has received several awards including the Public Service PS21 Star Service award in 2016.

 

A/Prof Tan teaches at the Yong Loo Lin, School of Medicine (YLLSoM), NUS, Lee Kong Chien School of Medicine, is a faculty physician with the Singhealth Surgical residency programme and a Core Faculty of the PGY1 Singhealth residency programme. She holds several research grants in various aspects of breast cancer and has published widely on a variety of breast issues.
