Dr Kuo is a Consultant in the Urology Service, Department of General Surgery, Sengkang General Hospital. She obtained her medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2004. She completed her advanced traineeship in Urology in 2012. She is a member of the Singapore Urology Association (SUA). In addition to presenting at various local and international conferences, Dr Kuo has been actively involved in speaking at public talks and GP forums.
In 2013, she was awarded a fellowship at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield (UK) with Prof CR Chapple, sub-specializing in Female Urology, Urodynamics and Reconstructive Urology. She has a keen interest in incontinence disorders e.g. benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). She is trained in sub-specialized procedures such as tapes/slings and artificial urinary sphincters for the treatment of both female and male incontinence, Botox treatment for overactive bladder, sacral nerve stimulation (SNS), posterior tribal nerve stimulation (PTNS) and reconstructive urology e.g. urethroplasty for urethral strictures and urethral diverticulum, vesico-vaginal fistula (VVF).
Currently, she is the Director of the Female and Reconstructive Urology Service at the Department of Urology, Singapore General Hospital.
