Profile

Dr Shalini Sri Kumaran attended medical school at Monash University, Melbourne in 2002 and completed her degree in 2006. She completed her internship and her first year medical residency in Australia before moving to Singapore in 2009. 

Her postgraduate training includes the completion of her MRCP in London in 2012 and specialist training in Advanced Internal Medicine in 2015 at the Singapore General Hospital. She also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes in 2016 from the University of Leicester. 

She was awarded the human manpower development award and with that she completed a fellowship in the field of obstetric medicine from 2018-2019 at the Women's and Children's Hospital, Vancouver,Canada. 

Upon her return, she has been working as a consultant within the department of Internal Medicine at SGH and also as a visiting consultant at KKH.
