Profile

​Dr Mitra completed his medical undergraduate studies in 1969 from the Calcutta University. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgical training in 1979. In 1988, he was awarded the Ministry of Health, Singapore HMDP (Health Manpower Developmental Programme) and spent a year as a fellow in Sports Medicine in United Kingdom. He then returned to practice in the Singapore General Hospital since 1989.
