Profile

Prof Lee received her medical and advanced specialist training in haematology in Singapore. She is currently a senior consultant with the Department of Haematology. She has an interest in Thrombosis and Haemostasis and played a key role in setting up the anticoagulation clinic and clinical trials in novel anticoagulants, promoting patient safety in anticoagulation therapy. Shehas helped refine the practice of anticoagulation monitoring services in this hospital. Her interest in haematology research, in particular clinical research in thrombotic and bleeding diseases has resulted in numerous publications in peer reviewed journals.

Prof Lee is also actively involved in medical education in her roles as Clinical Professor, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS and Duke-NUS Medical School. Besides her clinical, administrative, and academic duties, Prof Lee also participates actively in the local and regional professional scenes with her roles as Chairman of the Asia Pacific Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Chairperson of the Chapter of the Haematology (College of Physicians, Singapore), Elected executive member of College of Physicians and past President of the Singapore Society of Haematology.
