Asthma Programme

Asthma is an inflammatory airway disease that affects about 5% of the adult population. The asthma service in Singapore General Hospital involves a multi-disciplinary team of respiratory physicians, nurses, pharmacists and physiotherapists.

We help asthma patients achieve better understanding of their condition and optimize their asthma control. Patients are also encouraged to play a more active role in the management of their asthma. We are also one of the centres involved in the Ministry of Health’s National Asthma Programme.
