About the Course

We are delighted to announce the 10th Anniversary SGH Breast Pathology Course (8-10 November 2019) which will be held in conjunction with a Nodal T-cell Haematolymphoid Workshop (11 November 2019).

Our 2 1/2-day breast pathology fiesta promises an exciting array of breast pathology cases which can be enjoyed through conventional light microscopy as well as via digital microscopy. Lectures incorporate common and recurrent diagnostic challenges in breast pathology practice.

This year, we are honoured to have the Nottingham breast pathology faculty (Prof Ian Ellis and Prof Emad Rakha) joining us.

This year's topics will highlight changes to classification approaches that are adopted by the 5th series of the WHO Classification of Tumours of the Breast, as well as focus on latest updates in commonly encountered breast conditions. Rare entities and how to diagnose them, use of adjunctive tools of immunohistochemistry and molecuar pathology, will be included.
