We may not look our age but we turn 200 next year! And we are marking this momentous milestone with pride. The SGH Museum, housed in the national-gazetted Bowyer Block clock tower, is the only block that remains standing from 1926.
With support from the National Heritage Board’s Preservation of Sites and Monuments Division, our Museum is undergoing a revamp to tell the story of Medicine in Singapore and how SGH, as the first hospital in Singapore, was there for the nation and our people, through the uplifting and challenging moments that define our history. More importantly, it celebrates our people - we have come this far as the People’s Hospital because of you. We would like to invite you and/or your department to shape the Museum with us:
Your contribution will greatly enhance the story of SGH.
Please fill up the online submission form and we will be in touch. Do not send the item to us yet. Thank you! #mybloodisgreen #SGH200
