"I am passionate about discovering and detecting cancerous cells and infectious diseases. I am currently working on a clinical research on asthma with a team from the Department of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine.  Our pilot study seeks to determine the inflammatory phenotypes and biomarkers of two groups of patients with severe asthma (exacerbation-prone and fixed airway obstruction).  Other than this, I also enjoy teaching and training new cytotechnologists, medical officers and other hospital personnel."
