2025 SGH 60 Hours Challenge

SGH celebrates SG60 to honour the patients we serve with SGH 60 Hours Challenge around Singapore! 

SGH is privileged to serve more than 1 million patients annually with many subsidized patients. Every year, about 2,000 patients at SGH are unable to pay for essential care and treatment like interim dialysis and oxygen concentrators after exhausting all existing subsidies and funding options. Most of these patients are elderly patients and have per capita household income of $650 and less.

The SGH 60 Hours Challenge represents our commitment to supporting Singapore's most vulnerable patients as we celebrate our nation's 60th birthday. From 5 to 7 December 2025, SGH staff from the Development Office, Medical Social Workers and SGH Patients will unite in an extraordinary 60 hours walking campaign to raise essential funds for the SGH Needy Patients Fund.

Leading this inspiring campaign are Professor Terence SGH transplant specialist, and Nurse Tungga, SGH Nurse Clinician, who have teamed up to undertake the ultimate challenge - walking around Singapore during 60-hour period over three days

100% of your gift towards our SGH 60 hours challenge will go directly to fund the shortage faced by our patients in their healing journey when they have no one to turn to.

There’s no amount too small.
