MBBS, MMed(Path), FRCPA
Consultant
Specialty: Pathology
I have been a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologist of Australasia since 2023 and have since sub-specialised in cardiothoracic pathology, transplant pathology and cytopathology. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The University of Western Australia and received my Masters of Medicine (Pathology) with Distinction from Western Sydney University in Sydney, Australia.
I joined the department from 2023. In my specialist role, I have diagnosed a broad spectrum of cases, from intricate cardiothoracic and transplant samples to intricate cytology samples. I am proficient in rapid on-site evaluations of fine needle aspirations and reports various cytology samples. Overall, I am dedicated to patient-centered care, ongoing education, and collaborative research initiatives.
I am currently interested in molecular pathology as this is an expanding field especially in lung cancers. I am currently refining targeted molecular molecular profiles for pan-cancer using Next Generation Sequencing and investigating potential biomarker-directed clinical trials.
