Adj Assoc Prof Ng Shin Yi

A/Prof Ng Shin Yi is Head of Department, Senior Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Intensivist at the Department of Surgical Intensive Care, Division of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, Singapore General Hospital. 

A/Prof Ng is a member of the Subspecialty Training Committee (Intensive Care Medicine) as well as examiner for the Masters of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) and the Exit Examinations for Intensive Care Medicine. He is also a board member of the Chapter of Intensivists, Academy of Medicine Singapore.

He has special interests in point-of-care critical care ultrasound as well as haemodynamic monitoring. For research, he has published on airway management, sedation in the ICU and outcomes after critical illness.
