Dr Juliana Kan is a Consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine at Singapore General Hospital.

Dr Kan graduated from the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She obtained her Masters in Internal Medicine, and subsequently completed her Advanced Internal Medicine training in Singapore in 2018. Currently, she is an Associate Program Director for the Singhealth Internal Medicine Juniors Residency programme.

Dr Kan is a strong proponent for the use of Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in Internal Medicine, and has obtained her certificate of completion in POCUS by CHEST / Society of Hospital Medicine in 2020. She completed a 1-year Internal Medicine POCUS fellowship in Vancouver, with the University of British Columbia in 2024. She is developing the POCUS service in her department and is heavily involved in POCUS training for faculty and residents.
