About

Dr Selene Tan is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesiology, Singapore General Hospital, specializing in Hepatopancreatobiliary and Liver Transplant Anaesthesiology.

Dr Tan graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2009. She completed her residency with the NUHS Anaesthesiology Residency Programme in 2016, simultaneously obtaining her Master of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) and admission as a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. She subsequently completed her Fellowship in Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Anaesthesia at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney in 2019.

Beyond clinical work, she is actively involved in committee work, mentoring and undergraduate teaching. Dr Tan also pursues an interest in digital illustrations. Her artwork has been commissioned by her department for educational and quality improvement projects, as well as by SMA News for their publications.
