Audiologist Career Path

An audiologist is an allied health professional qualified in the assessment and diagnosis of hearing and/or balance disorders using a wide variety of tests and is able to provide appropriate aural rehabilitation for patients. This includes recommending treatment options such as hearing aids or cochlear implants based on each patient's hearing needs and preferences.

The role of an audiologist is dynamic and challenging as it encompasses managing patients of all ages with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Being analytical in thinking and adopting a scientific approach in problem-solving will definitely add to the holistic care for patient-centered work.

Requirement
Masters or Degree (Honours) / Post Graduate Diploma in Audiolog
