Breast Cancer Screening & Detection Program

The breast imaging program is evaluating different screening strategies to improve the detection of breast cancers at an earlier stage, using different modalities such as tomosynthesis and breast ultrasound. Research plans are also underway to develop and evaluate machine-learning artificial intelligence models to improve the imaging detection of breast cancer and to predict breast cancer risk in women.
