Training Objectives/Goals

  • Systematic and multidisciplinary approach to Difficult-to-treat asthma
  • Diagnosis and phenotyping of Severe Asthma 
  • Management of Severe Asthma (including appropriate use of   Biologics, Bronchial Thermoplasty and other add-on therapies)
  • Counselling of patients with Asthma and Severe Asthma (including biologics counselling)
  • Transitional care (from childhood to adulthood, from hospital to community)
  • Diagnosis and management of overlap airway diseases with severe asthma

 

Training Duration 

6 to 12 months

Admission Criteria

  • Possess valid practicing license, full registration with the Singapore Medical Council
  • Registered under the Register of Specialists with Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB) in Respiratory Medicine or Internal Medicine
