Prescription of Powered Mobility Aids

Over the years, there has been a rising trend in the use of PMAs among individuals with disabilities and the elderly. In the same vein, there are burgeoning concerns on the safe use of devices in the community. Occupational Therapists need to be equipped with skills to assess and train these users to ensure proficiency and safe device use. This two-day programme is designed for junior occupational therapists and new graduates to enhance their clinical skills in prescribing PMAs.
