​A multidisciplinary approach is vital in the management of distressed behaviors within the acute geriatric care setting. Without a change in perspectives and approaches, persons with dementia would be at risk of prolonged length of hospital stay, and further institutionalisation. Through this course, you will be equipped with knowledge and skills in addressing behaviors through understanding the possible needs of persons with dementia.
