The use of resistance bands and stability training devices have become increasingly popular in professional gyms as well as in home training programmes for individuals of all ages and at any level of fitness. Research has demonstrated that elastic resistance training can be as effective as traditional weight training, while offering superior benefits in terms of portability, cost-effectiveness, and safety. Whether you are working with elderly patients focusing on falls prevention, athletes returning to sport, or individuals requiring home-based exercise programmes, this course will equip you with the scientific rationale for elastic resistance training to optimize patient outcomes. Through hands-on practice and expert instruction, participants will learn techniques for strengthening, balance and stability training using resistance bands.
