This course introduces the “Problem Solving Approach” to contemporary cardiopulmonary physiotherapy practice. It is a simple framework that helps Physiotherapists in clinical reasoning, and guides them in patient management and achieving outcomes through evaluation of clinical features and potential pathophysiological basis. This course aims to provide both physiological and scientific evidences to support commonly used respiratory care modalities in local setting. This is an interactive course with case illustrations and practical components. The contents are appropriate for those who have some/ basic exposure to patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction, and aim to provide specialised care by developing a systematic and evidence-based approach to respiratory care delivery.
