Physiotherapy Assessment & Management of Lumbopelvic Disorders

Patients with lumbopelvic pain form a significant proportion of the musculoskeletal physiotherapy caseload. Treating this diverse and complex group of patients can be challenging. Participants will gain skills to differentiate and manage different lumbopelvic disorders with a sound clinical reasoning perspective. This blended course includes theoretical coverage and demonstration of techniques in the classroom and online.

 

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

 

  • Plan, prioritise and perform a competent assessment of patients with lumbopelvic pain
  • Formulate effective physiotherapy management plans for patients with lumbopelvic pain, using an evidence-informed approach.
  • Design and implement physiotherapy management plans for patients post-lumbar spinal surgery
