CA in Diabetic Foot Management

Application Timeline

For overseas applicants:

A full set of required documents to be submitted at least 6 months before the attachment start date.

For local applicants:

A full set of required documents to be submitted at least 3 months before the attachment start date.

Duration

2 - 4 weeks

Criteria

Only for organisation sponsored practising Podiatrists, Allied Health Professionals interested in diabetic foot management

Note: Each request is subject to Department's review and approval

Objective

To observe and understand treatment for the diabetic foot.

Outline
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will:

  • Be introduced to management principles and protocol
  • Understand the screening procedures
  • Observe diabetic patients in podiatry treatment
  • Know effective wound care management
  • Offload modalities for diabetic foot wounds

Methodology

  • Observation of inpatient podiatry rounds
  • Observation of outpatient podiatry wound, diabetic foot care and diabetic foot screening clinic

Attachment Fees

1. Training Fee (5-day work week) depending on the nature of attachment

At least SGD $600* per applicant per week


2. Administrative Fee Upon Acceptance (non-refundable)

Singaporeans: SGD $120* (SGD $150* wef 1 April 2023)

Non-Singaporeans & Overseas Applicants: SGD $200* (SGD $240* wef 1 April 2023)


3. Miscellaneous Fees for Overseas Applicants (Non-Singaporeans) [non-refundable]

a. Training Employment Pass (TEP)

  • One time application fee: SGD $105
  • Issuance Fee: SGD $225

b. Multiple Journey visa (if applicable): SGD $30

* excluding prevailing GST
