Dr Koh Kim Hwee

SingHealth Polyclinics - Pasir Ris

Dr Koh Kim Hwee is Deputy Director of Clinical Services and Clinic Director of Pasir Ris Polyclinic in SHP. He is also a Consultant Family Physician by training and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School. He serves as the clinical lead for the SHP Musculoskeletal Workgroup as well as a member of the National One Rehab Musculoskeletal workgroup. He was the lead discussant for the Gout Appropriate Care Guide (ACG) Expert group and serve on the Advisory Committee for the Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine. After completing his HMDP training on management of musculoskeletal pain in UK in 2019, he returned to set-up the MSK triage service in SHP in 2021.

Discussion Topic:

Problem Based Learning – The Management of A Pain Patient in the Community: Perspectives from A Multi-disciplinary Panel from the Polyclinic to Tertiary Care: Collaboration with Chronic Pain Management Service

There will be problem-based learning discussion on handling of chronic pain patient from the polyclinic to the tertiary care centre. The moderators will be Drs Diana Chan and Dr Singh. The panelists will be Dr Koh KH (SHP), Dr Philip Cheong (SGH PT), Ms Constance Png (CGH, PSY).  A few cases will be discussed in this interactive session and questions will be taken live from the attendees.
