Background

Established in 2003, the SGH-Postgraduate Allied Health Institute (PGAHI) is the first postgraduate allied health institute set up by a hospital in Singapore. As a pioneer institute, PGAHI provides quality education and training for local and international healthcare professionals, tapping on SGH’s wealth of clinical expertise and that of its reputable partners, as well as leveraging on strategic partnerships with renowned overseas universities.

The PGAHI Logo

The clasped hands symbolise the caring, compassionate and collaborative nature of the work of allied health professionals. The open book represents the commitment to life-long learning and research to achieve high clinical standards and professional excellence, while the Bowyer Block clock tower represents the Hospital’s tradition of caring and excellence. “Uniti Curamus, Semper Discimus”, our Latin motto, means “Together We Heal, Forever We Learn”.
