Accreditation

In March 2007, SingHealth Alice Lee IAN earned the distinction of being accredited by the Accreditation American Nurses Credentialing Centre (ANCC) as a Continuing Nursing Education Provider.

As the 1st in Asia and only the 3rd country out of United States to receive this prestigious accreditation, SingHealth Alice Lee IAN’s efforts in up-to-date and quality education were proven to have met internationally recognised standards.

This accreditation brings SingHealth Alice Lee IAN closer to its goal of being the region’s leading centre in advanced practice-based nursing education and training of the highest professional standards to meet the healthcare needs of the community.

In July 2010, SingHealth Alice Lee IAN was appointed as Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centre by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) in recognition of its role in actively rolling out quality Workforce Skills Qualifications System for Healthcare Support (HCS WSQ) programmes and nursing courses.

SGH is one of the key healthcare institutions to mandate full Healthcare Support (HCS) WSQ training for new healthcare support workers. Besides training, SGH integrated HCS WSQ into the SGH Human Resource (HR) system where recruitment and promotion are dowelled to the attainment of WSQ qualifications.
