    The Training programme is designed to standarize the quality of training for young doctors and provide a simulated control environment for safe yet realistic practise.

    With 7 surgical platforms making up SSSC, trainees are given a multi-disciplinary experience, where teaching is not based on specialties or departments but by skills set.
  • Our Beginning

    In 2010, SGH Surgical Skills Centre was establised under the auspices of the Division of Surgery with the aim of developing a division-wide training curriculum and providing a comprehensive simulated training environment.
  • Faculty

    The SSSC serves as a platform for faculty to engage each other, share perspectives and establish a pedagogical model built on the principles of good clinical practices.

About SSSC  

The Surgical Skills and Simulation Centre, SingHealth Duke-NUS (SSSC) is a training centre that brings together all surgical, simulation and procedural skills courses under one roof. The training is delivered through various skills-specific platforms with faculty from across all surgical and procedural specialties and the use of state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure. 

Surgical Morphology and Imaging of Congenital Heart Disease (21 - 22 September 2016)

A two-day workshop comprising of lectures, hands-on 3D printed heart models, and breakout sessions including wet lab and transoesophageal echocardiography simulation.
