Clinical A/Prof Joanne Quah is a Family Physician by training, Senior Consultant and Deputy Director, Education at SingHealth Polyclinics, as well as the Program Director for the SingHealth Family Medicine Residency Program. She is Adjunct Assistant Clinical Associate Professor, , and key appointment holder for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Family Medicine Academic Clinical Program, as well as Senior Research Scientist for the Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation, SingHealth Regional Health System
Dr Quah graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001 with MBBS, Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 2006, Fellow College of Family Physicians Singapore FCFP(S) and Master of Clinical Investigation MCI (NUS) in 2010, and completed a HMDP Fellowship in Integrated Diabetes Care in the United Kingdom in 2016. She was appointed National Examiner, NUS Department of Graduate Medical Studies from 2013- 2017 involved in planning for the MMed (FM) Theory and Clinical exams, as well as Clinic Director, SingHealth Polyclinics-Outram in 2014- 2017. Her interests are in nurturing the next generation of family physicians, mentorship, inter-professional collaborative practice, primary care research, education research and patient safety.
