Dr Ruth Lim is a Family Physician and Senior Consultant at SingHealth Polyclinics. She was the Clinic Director of two Polyclinics and Assistant Director of Clinical Services before her current focus on Education. As Director of Education at SingHealth polyclinics, and Academic Vice-Chair of Education in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Family Medicine Academic Clinical Programme (ACP), she plays a key role in educating the next generation of healthcare staff.
Ruth is a passionate clinician educator and has contributed significantly to Family Medicine development as an academic discipline in Singapore, active in the areas of pedagogy and assessment. She has played a key role in initiating discussions about training and assessment standards in Family Medicine as well as the professional development of the Family Physicians.
