Profile

Dr Jacqueline Jung Jingjin is currently a Consultant in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit, Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

She graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine, London with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008 and went on to obtain her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015. She is a fully qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Health, Singapore. She is also a member of the Obstetrical Gynecological Society of Singapore (OGSS).

Dr Jung clinical interests are in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy for general gynaecological conditions such as uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. She has been a member of the organising committee of the annual Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE) Regional Congress and is a trainer for the pre-congress hysteroscopy workshop since 2018.

As an obstetrician and also a mother of two, Dr Jung is aware that pregnancy can be an overwhelming experience. She believes that every pregnancy journey is unique and is a firm advocate of empowering and supporting mothers through their pregnancy journey.

In addition to her clinical roles, Dr Jung is also passionate about teaching. She won the NUS Dean's award for teaching excellence in 2016 and is currently the clinical tutor for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and DUKE-NUS Medical School. She is also a physician faculty member for the SingHealth OBGYN Residency Programme and is the lead coordinator in education and training for residents in minimally invasive surgery. She is also a keen researcher who has published in both local and international peer-accredited journals.
