Profile

Dr Cindy Goh is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital. She graduated from the University of Cambridge in England in 2010. She was awarded First Class Honours for all three pre-clinical years, and also a Distinction in Pathology in her final medical school examination. She became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012 and obtained her Master of Medicine in Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2016. She undertook her specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery with the SingHealth Residency programme. During this time, she received the Outstanding Resident Award in Plastic Surgery in 2018 and 2019. She completed her training in 2020 and was subsequently awarded the Gold Medal by the College of Surgeons Singapore for her performance at the national Plastic Surgery board examinations.

Her clinical interests are centered around microsurgical and aesthetic reconstruction of the human body. Apart from her clinical duties, she is actively involved in several research projects that aim to improve microsurgical clinical outcomes. She is also working on expanding the breast reconstructive service at Singapore General Hospital. She regularly runs didactic teaching sessions for the residents and medical students in the department and has been the table instructor at various workshops - suturing skills, microsurgical skills and cadaver anatomical dissection.
