Dr Gillian Phua graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2008 and subsequently obtained her Membership from the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) (United Kingdom) and Masters in Internal Medicine (MMed)(Int Med) Singapore).
She completed her specialist training in Palliative Medicine in National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) in February 2019 and joined NCCS as a Consultant.
