Dr Jason Chay was trained in haemotology and transfusion medicine at Blood Service Group, Health Sciences Authority and the Department of Haemotology, Singapore General Hospital. He was previously the Director of Clinical Services at Blood Services Group, Health Sciences Authority from April 2016 to June 2018.
He is currently working in Department of Pathology in Sengkang General Hospital as a Senior Consultant (hospital blood bank and lab haemotology services) and he is also the current Chairperson of the SKH Hospital Blood Transfusion Committee.
His secondary appointment is at SGH Department of Clinical Laboratory Medicine. He is also a visiting consultant to Blood Services Group, Health Sciences Authority as well as Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke NUS.
His research interests is in Immuno-haemotology, Clinical Transfusion Medicine, Massive Transfusion Protocol, and Patient Blood Management.
