Profile
Dr Ang Siok Hoon, known as ASH to her friends, is a paediatrician in Singapore KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. With an interest in acute care and a love for the fast-paced environment, she joined the Children Emergency (CE) Department after her speciality training. Here in CE, she enriches her career with a good blend of medical and surgical cases. With an undergraduate degree in Science from Nanyang Technological University, she went on to pursue a career in medicine after obtaining a post-graduate medical degree from Duke-NUS Medical School. Her passion in children’s health led her to embark on a journey in Pediatrics. After having obtained the Masters of Medicine in Paediatrics, she now joins the ranks of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health from UK. Upon successfully completing her training from SingHealth Paediatrics Residency, she has received the Specialist Accreditation by the Singapore Medical Council and is currently serving as a consultant in CE.
