​Dr. Rebecca Lim was the first to graduate from the Singapore Singhealth Hand Surgery Residency Program and was awarded the Outstanding Resident prize for three consecutive years.  She currently serves as a consultant at the department of Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery at the Singapore General Hospital. Her area of special interest are in wrist disorders. She has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals with a primary interest in tendons and their biomechanical properties. She is active in academic teaching and is an elected House Mentor of the Yong Loo School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Adjunct Instructor of Duke-NUS Medical School, obtaining the prestigious WHB- SMACF Outstanding Mentor Award in 2019. She is also very passionate about humanitarian work and has participated in numerous overseas missions in the ASEAN region for education and medical purposes since 2006.
