Profile

​Dr. Bee is currently Head and Senior Consultant with the Department of Endocrinology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), he is also Head of SingHealth Duke-NUS Diabetes Centre. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1998. He completed his training in internal medicine at SGH and obtained his MRCP(UK) in 2004. Following this, he embarked on his specialist training in Endocrinology at SGH. In 2009, he was awarded the HMDP fellowship by the Ministry of Health and spent the year training at the Joslin Diabetes Centre in Boston, USA. Dr. Bee assumed the role of Director, SGH Diabetes Centre in 2011. He was the Programme Director of the SingHealth Endocrinology Senior Residency Programme from 2012 to 2015. He is a member of the MOH Diabetes Prevention and Care Taskforce as well as the National Diabetes Database Working Committee. His main clinical interest is in management of diabetes mellitus.
