Vaccinations for the General Population – An Update

Enabling life-long well-being has become a key focus for preventative medicine in the 21st Century.  Maintaining an adaptive and resilient immune system to protect us from infections is crucial to healthy ageing.  Whilst healthy lifestyle with proper diet and regular exercise are important, preventive measures such as vaccination to strengthen our immune system contribute to this healthy ageing.


After the lecture, the participants will be able to gain an understanding on:

  • Recommended Vaccinations for Adults
  • Concept of Immunosenescence
  • Use of specific Vaccines including Recombinant Zoster Vaccine
