Vaccination Differentiated Safe Management Measures at SGH

​From 22 Nov 2021, SGH has implemented vaccination-differentiated safe management measures based on the patient's and visitor's vaccination status.

At F&B Establishments

 

Fully Vaccinated*: Follow the requirements at the outlets

Unvaccinated/Partially Vaccinated: No dining-in allowed, except if you have a negative ART/PCR result on HealthHub obtained within 24hrs prior to each visit.


At the Wards

  • ​No visitor allowed, unless under exceptional conditions^

Visitors

  • Visitors to the wards may proceed directly to the gantry during visiting hours after one-time successful registration.
  • Visitors who are approved to stay beyond the visiting hours, such as registered caregivers, will need show proof of a valid ART result done within the last 24 hours. Perform your own Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at home and indicate the date and time it was taken. Take a photo of the negative test result with the front of your NRIC and show it to our staff at Visitors Registration Counter.

ART kit are also available for sale at the vending machines around SGH, PharmaCare and 7-eleven.

*Fully Vaccinated Visitors include: (1) Persons who have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 180 days, regardless of their vaccination status; (2) Persons who have recovered from COVID-19 more than 180 days ago and are fully vaccinated; and (3) Persons who are medically ineligible to undergo vaccination (with acceptable poof of their medical ineligible status).

^Exceptional Conditions include: (1) DIL patients; (2) Paediatric patients; (3) Birthing/postpartum mothers; (4) Patients requiring additional care support. E.g. patients who have mental incapacities or family members who are undergoing caregiver training to better care for their loved ones after hospital discharge.

For visitors with urgent need

Visitors with urgent need (e.g. patient pass away, patient due for delivery, urgent conference with doctors) are allowed to the ward to settle their immediate needs first.

For newly admitted patient

On your admission, our staff will share with you and your caregiver more information about the ART.

 

Going for medical appointments at the clinics or centres

 

You do not need to adhere to the COVID19 test or the vaccination-differentiated safe management measures.


ART Kit vending machine at SGH

You are recommended to perform your own ART at home before coming to SGH to visit a patient at the wards. Alternatively, you can also purchase an ART kit from the vending machine at SGH Block 5 or 6, 7-eleven or PharmaCare.
