Coronary Atherosclerosis

Coronary Atherosclerosis - Symptoms

Those with mild coronary atherosclerosis usually do not experience any symptoms. However, for those with more serious blockage in their arteries, they might experience the following symptoms:

  • Chest pain upon exertion. If you experience prolonged chest pain (lasting more than 10 to 20 minutes), it may be a heart attack.
  • Breathlessness upon exertion

If you experience any of the above symptoms, please visit your doctor as soon as possible. Early detection and treatment of coronary atherosclerosis can prevent it from worsening.
