The National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) is celebrating its silver jubilee this year with a special 25th Anniversary Green Tea Blend comprising genmaicha, orange peel and rosemary. Apart from uplifting one’s mood, green tea is known to contain antioxidants which can reduce oral bacteria, and is beneficial for the health of teeth and gums.
Donors who make a gift of $25 or more to the NDCS Tooth Fairy Fund will receive a box of 10 pillow sachets as a token of appreciation. To date, over 2,000 boxes of the 25th Anniversary Green Tea Blend have been given to NDCS Tooth Fairy Fund donors.
“We are grateful to donors who have journeyed with us through our 25-year history and supported the Tooth Fairy Fund as we mark this important milestone. As a national referral centre for oral health, we treat patients from all walks of life, suffering from complex dental conditions. With the generous support of our donors, we are able to ensure that oral healthcare remains affordable to patients, embark on research to spearhead new discoveries and train future oral healthcare professionals. Our goal is to improve lives through excellent oral health for generations to come,” said Clinical Associate Professor Poon Choy Yoke, Chief Executive Officer, NDCS.
“Every dollar makes a difference in supporting our patients and we hope more will come forward to pledge their support for patients in need and take the opportunity to try our 25th Anniversary Green Tea Blend! The teas also make a great and meaningful gift for the upcoming holiday season.”

Advancing oral health while doing good
The mouth is a window into a person’s general health. Poor oral health can result in malnutrition, physical frailty and related medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.
Your support for the NDCS Tooth Fairy Fund gives patients the confidence to smile and a means to improve their quality of life.
The mission of NDCS Tooth Fairy Fund is to help the needy and underserved gain access to oral healthcare, enabling good dentition and helping them regain confidence and self-esteem. The fund also supports research and education causes under the SingHealth Duke-NUS Oral Health Academic Clinical Programme.
NDCS hopes to reinforce the importance of giving and make a difference to the lives of its beneficiaries as it celebrates its silver jubilee this year.
Mark your calendars for a night of laughter
The NDCS silver jubilee celebrations will end with a comedy night featuring three of Singapore’s well-loved stand-up comedians, Pam Oei, Siti Khalijah and Hossan Leong. Proceeds from the event will also support the NDCS Tooth Fairy Fund.
