“Store-bought bumper pads covered with plastic sheets were previously fitted into cot beds to prevent injury to very young patients recovering post-anaesthesia. These paddings dirtied easily and were too thin to offer much protection. My team and I changed that by creating custom-made paddings with PVC covers. These new paddings are thicker and can be disinfected easily, offering better protection for the patients. We innovate by first paying attention to the needs of our patients.”
