Do you know that age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a major cause of vision loss?
Sign up for our upcoming Research Grand Rounds (RGR) on 17 Nov 2021 to learn more about the Translational Asian Age-Related Macular Degeneration Programme (TAAP), which aims to reduce vision loss and blindness from AMD and improve quality of life for the patients.
Led by Prof Gemmy Cheung, Head and Senior Consultant of Medical Retina Department at Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), the TAAP adopts a bench-to-bedside-to-population approach to address the key knowledge gaps in Asian AMD. Our speaker Prof Cheung will also discuss how the research is being translated into clinical practice.
Facilitating our Q&A session is Assoc Prof Gavin Tan, Director of Digital Transformation Office, and Senior Consultant of Surgical Retina Department at SNEC; Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Duke-NUS Medical School.
