Closure of Block 3 Taxi Stand and relocation of Car Park H shuttle services

27 Jul 2017

The SGH Campus is currently undergoing a renewal process to meet the growing needs of our population. The main construction currently in progress is the Outram Community Hospital (OCH), opposite SGH Block 3 which is expected to be completed in 2020. There will be relocation of shuttle bus stop and closure of taxi stand due to the construction works.

1. Relocation of Car Park H Shuttle Bus Stop

From 1 August 2017, the Car Park H Shuttle Bus will stop at opposite SGH Block 7 instead of Block 4. This is to facilitate the construction of Outram Community Hospital. The shuttle bus will continue to operate at approximately 10-minute intervals. For more information, please visit www.sgh.com.sg/shuttlebus.

2. Closure of Taxi Stand at Block 3

The taxi stand at Block 3 will be closed from 1 August 2017. This is to facilitate the construction of the link bridge to Outram Community Hospital. Please use the existing taxi stands at Block 4 or 7.

3. Wards Refurbishment

We have started the refurbishment works at Wards 77 and 78 and they are expected to be completed in December this year.

The construction works in campus, understandably may cause inconvenience. We seek your understanding and patience that this is inevitable as we upgrade our facilities and make the much needed changes that will benefit patients in future.

Every precaution is taken to minimise dust and noise. To ensure patients uninterrupted rest at night, all noisy construction works will stop at 6.00pm daily. Ear plugs are available to patients upon request.

Thank you for working with us to make the patient’s experiences at SGH campus a better one.
