Assoc Prof Devendra Kanagalingam

Assoc Prof Devendra is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He was educated at the Penang Free School in Malaysia before pursuing pre-university studies in Singapore as an ASEAN scholar. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1992. A/Prof Devendra worked in orthopaedic surgery, neonatology, colorectal surgery, general surgery and emergency medicine before being appointed to a Ministry of Health Traineeship  in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. As part of his postgraduate training, he spent 2 years working in the United Kingdom, including one year at the St George’s Hospital Medical School in London where he was Senior Registrar and Honorary Clinical Lecturer.
