Abstract submission is open to all staff at SGH Campus*.

Please note that your eligibility of the awards will be based on your age and your choice of submission of your paper as an Oral or Poster presentation.

(age criteria of being 35 years or below on the first day of the

Your abstract submission will be regardless of your department of origin (incl. medical, surgical, research, diagnostic or laboratory medicine, therapeutic (e.g. therapeutic radiology) and allied health care services).
Only accepted abstracts will be published on the SGH ASM Website.

This award invites all staff (e.g. Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, scientists, clinical staff etc.) from SGH, NCC, NDC, NHC, NNI SGH Campus, SNEC, OPC, OCH and Duke-NUS GMS, to submit abstracts for this category.
This award category has no age criterion.
All participants of age 35 years and below will be considered for this category unless they have indicated otherwise (i.e. 12 April 2024).
This award category has no age restriction.
Abstracts not selected for Oral presentation for Outstanding Research Award competition will be considered for the Best Poster Award.
Abstracts not selected for Oral Presentation for Young Investigator’s Award competition will be considered for the Best Poster Award.

The work can be on any aspect of basic and translational research performed in SGH Campus*

The participant must be working in SGH Campus* at the time of submitting his or her work.

Young Investigator's Award
The work can be on any aspect of clinical research performed in SGH Campus*
This award honours outstanding nursing research work in the SGH Campus*. It will also include work in systematic reviews and evidence-based nursing practice.
This award is open to all nurses working in the SGH Campus*.
The Principal Investigator / team leader of the project must be a nurse working in the SGH Campus*.
All work must be performed in the SGH Campus*.
The work must be original and had not been published at other meetings prior to the SGH 25th ASM. (If the abstract was submitted before but has new data, it can be as considered a new abstract)

The work must be original and not been published at other meetings prior to the SGH 24th ASM. (If the abstract was submitted before but has new data, it can be considered a new abstract)
This award honours outstanding research work on organisations and policies to improve quality, efficiency and equity in health and social care, and innovations in healthcare delivery (especially implementation research on new models of care), health technology assessment, health related costs and healthcare financing.
