Signing of Agreement with the Flinders University, Australia

An agreement was signed between SGH and the Flinders University in 2006 to jointly offer postgraduate programmes in clinical rehabilitation in Singapore. These programmes will contribute towards upgrading of skills and knowledge in the field of comtemporary multi-disciplinary clincial rehabilitation.

LivingWorks- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Course

It is an internationally certified course offered by the Institute since 2006. The Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) aims to equip caregivers and other relevant personnel with the essential competencies to recognize suicide risk and to intervene in situations of immediate suicide risks.

Launch of SGH - Postgraduate Allied Health Institute (PGAHI)

Offically launched in Feburary 2006, PGAHI is Singapore's first postgraduate school for allied health professionals. It will contribute towards helping practitioners from an array of allied health disciplines, such as pharmacists, therapists, dietitians, medical social workers, radiographers and psychologists, keep abreast of professional developments in their fields.
