In the last 20 years, Minimally-Invasive Surgery (MIS) has expanded from its niche area to join the mainstream of most surgical specialties. In fact, MIS procedures have become the preferred choices in gallbladder, colorectal and bariatric surgery; and indeed MIS is even making inroads intro traditional bastions of open surgery such as transplant, cardiac and orthopaedic surgery.
This cadaveric workshop will allow participants to practice and enhance their laparoscopic skills in a safe and guided environment.
Registration details will be released nearer to the workshop date.
Surgical training in the 21st century would be incomplete without formal teaching and structured guidance in the technique of MIS procedures. This workshop will allow participants to practice and enhance their laparoscopic skills.
