Objectives

During the attachment to the Emergency Department, participants will gain in-depth knowledge in managing patients with medical and traumatic emergencies.

Content

  • Management of patients in the triage area, critical care area, and specialist areas (eg orthopaedics, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, plastic and burns, hand surgery, minor operating theatre and observation ward)
  • Disaster management
  • HEAL (Hospital Emergency Ambulance Link) System
  • ACSS (A and E Clinical Support System) System
