Content
- Pre-operative counselling
- Pre- and post-operative care (include complications ie lymphoedema)
- Use of external breast prothesis for mastectomy patients
- Referrals to support services ie hospice
- Education on Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening to patients and family members
- Role of Breast Care Nurse Clinician
For Whom
- Registered nurses with at least 3 years of post-registration experience
- Currently working in a surgical ward with breast cancer patients
